Execute code written in C as a decentralized application with Atlas SDK: making it straightforward and simple to extend native and legacy applications to web3.

7 August 2024

We have streamlined and improved the overall onboarding experience. To get started, all you need to do is sign up and generate your API key.

  • Sign up and generate your API key.

  • Read our quickstart guide for detailed code snippets and examples to get started with our Virtualisation Units

  • Start building applications natively in C, and executing them natively on-chain.

For a more comprehensive walkthrough of the ChainsAtlas SDK, please refer to this video where Marcos walks developers through the process of obtaining API keys, navigating Chains Atlass developer dashboard, and running your first few lines of code written in C natively on-chain.

We developed these Virtualisation Units because we wanted to make it easier for legacy and web2 application developers to extend their applications to web3 and leverage features like wallets, cryptocurrency transactions and NFTS without having to deal with web3 infrastructure. The current version of the SDK supports major web3 JS libraries such as  ethers, web3 and viem.

According to our resident virtualisation guru Ayoub, our Virtualisation Units can be adapted to support various chains (we currently support EVM chains such as Ethereum, Polygon, Binance Smart Chain etc and are working on Stellar, XRPL and AElf integrations). The technology supports C and can be extended to support any high-level programming language. We are currently working to integrate Solidity on non-EVM chains and JavaScript will be the next one. The sky is the limit! Technically, there’s nothing to stop us from implementing Virtualisation Units as native cross-chain bridges between chains, and even incompatible chain ecosystems (think EVM and non-EVM).

Sign up today to get started with ChainsAtlas Virtualisation Units and to remain updated about our progress working on this game changing piece of tech.
